Do you want to know where you can compete for a National Championship? If you missed it, earlier this week the NCAA D2 National Championship Bracket was announced. At any level it's a big deal to make it to the final field of 64 teams. If you have been around me for any length of time you know that I am a HUGE advocate for playing at the D2 level.

Scholarships - Check

Facilities - Check

Great coaches - Check

Opportunity for PT - Check

If you want to put a smile on a college coaches face this week, an email or text that says "congrats on making the tournament!" will probably do it.

Who won the D2 national championships last year? Do you know? You probably should, honestly. There are almost 5,000 athletes playing D2 volleyball across the country. Several of them played D1 and then transferred to a D2 school. Others probably had D1 offers, but turned them down for the opportunity to play at (potentially) one of those 64 teams you see on the D2 National Championship Bracket.

Thinking About Your College Goals

If you want to move up the recruiting board for a specific school, communicating consistently is the way to go. Engaging with what the team is doing right now, in the playoffs, is really important. Engage. Communicate interest. Show the coaching staff that you are invested in the team and the program right now. You never know. You might find yourself on the phone with a Final Four or National Championship program in the next couple of weeks.

Start today and add some NEW schools to your list that aren't Baylor or Rice.
