I'm not talking about having goals to get to a certain level or a certain college. I'm talking about making some goals for yourself ONCE you get to college.

I tell all of my children that I don't really care about the outcome of their event or sport, just that they work hard and try their best. You're going to make mistakes and you're even going to fail, but that's how you grow. But the effort always needs to be there; we do things 100% if we are going to do them at all. They probably don't understand what all of that means yet, but that's okay, I will keep telling them anyway.

I got a decent look at how our fall was going to be this last week. Sara took a job at a private school this next year and so we enrolled our three oldest in the same school. It's a university model, so we still get to do the home school stuff 3 days a week and then they are in the classroom for 2 days. But it's going to look a lot different!
