There's still time to get on top of your recruiting process.

There's still time to send an email out this month.

If you're reading this blog post then you probably recognize that January is right around the corner and club season is going to start taking up substantially more of your time. Before you get "too busy" to send some emails to college coaches, use the few days you have between Christmas and New Years to reach out to a few schools. You will want to get at least one more email to those schools between now and the 2nd weekend of February.

This is for everyone, regardless of where you are in the process. If you haven't really started or haven't done "enough" then NOW is the best time to get started. Spend a few minutes today and a few minutes tomorrow. Split it up into 30 minute chunks if that's all you can imagine. Are there coaches working over the Holidays? Yes. I'm literally texting/talking to two D1 coaches as I'm writing this blog.

You want to get on their radar. Between all of the other athletes out there and what's going on in the transfer portal, they need to know who you are. There is always time to get on a coach's radar. Circumstances change. They don't always, but sometimes a roster spot will open up where there wasn't one before. COVID has created a lot of road blocks and challenges for athletes across the country.

If you didn't get around to your "Happy Holiday" emails, then just switch them over to a "Happy New Year" email.

January and February are busy months for many reasons.
